I'm a fan of hope no matter how vague! It's one of the "real" things along with love and faith. Praying... ;-)

Not sure what your comment involves but just because I like to talk a lot, see if this fits…

Prov 4:18 But the path of the just [is] as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

Again Matthew Henry helps me to understand this… It is a growing light; it shines more and more, not like the light of a meteor, which soon disappears, or that of a candle, which burns dim and burns down, but like that of the rising sun, which goes forward shining, mounts upward shining. Grace, the guide of this way, is growing; he that has clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. That joy which is the pleasure of this way, that honour which is the brightness of it, and all that happiness which is indeed its light, shall be still increasing. It will arrive, in the end, at the perfect day. The saints will not be perfect till they come to heaven, but there they shall themselves shine as the sun when he goes forth in his strength. Their graces and joys shall be all consummate. Therefore it is our wisdom to keep close to the path of the just.

Again… Not sure Dorsey what your comment involves. But what I see here is that the grace of God promotes in us the desire to have clean hands and to be a pleasure to him. Our happiness is ever increasing through his just ways and his asking of us to reflect those just ways in our walk. How do we combine true justice with his grace and mercy is always a dilemma to me and I think to his church, especially when I am not always in possession of all the true facts. It does take extraordinary effort and patients from his saints, but He is extraordinary and has supplied us the Holy Spirit for the task. But I can still mess it up. But what I do know is, “We will not reach perfection until we are with him”… but I need to keep close to the path of his ways.

Humans are phototropic, that's why any merchandise placed under a skylight sells better. Wal-Mart has figured this out, and is using it to their advantage (putting in skylights like crazy). So if you find yourself suddenly buying Depends, or huge amounts of coffee filters, that could be why.

Or maybe you just have a serious problem.

p.s. My word verification was jlotaxes. I had no idea that J. Lo was taxing us.

Daylight? What's that?

I'd be down for the pint. Just say when and where. First one's on me.

"I saw the light. No more sorrow, no more night..." Oh well, this is the "hope that springs eternal within the human breast."
I think I saw the same light: new format, new powerpoint, etc.
Even youth may have a place.
Will wonders never cease?
Keep looking up. "This is the true light..."

dorse, You are in my prayers that you will let the Light draw you into fellowship with the Lord and rest there for a time to bask in the glow of the light and not get in the way of it.
