All I want for Christmas...

...is a tour announcement (pleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease).

(Oh, and the five hundred bucks it'll probably take to get a ticket.) Read more here.

My favorite quote about Monday night's show comes from Pete Paphides (The Times of London):

"With a synergy like this going on, it would be an act of cosmic perversity to stop now."

My former boss saw them in London. It was a dream come true.

Me? Pass. Too many bad memories from my garage band days. Can't even stand listening to them anymore.

I went to see Page/Plant kick off thier US tour some years back and it was great (and decent too). It was all about the music, not the lyrics or the culture, which really made it work for me.

I don't think I'd shell out the $500 but I'd probably pay $50 or so again. ;-)

I think I'll pass. Although I do enjoy some of their music. I can think of a whole lot of other things I could do w/$500.00.
Merry Christmas any way.

a whole lot of love with all those guitar effects.

I'd pay $500 to go back to 1979 and see them rock 'Fool in the Rain', 'All My Love' & maybe a little 'Hot Dog'.

I'd also pay to stay in this year and see Robert Plant & Allison Krauss together (one of my favorite CDs this year...)

It would be awesome if there was a video of us mangling Cygnus X-1 at that grade school carnival we played. Truly awesome.

I heard Led Zeppelin announced they were going to....do the cover of the Rolling Stone (and they did and they look old now).

I like the Zep but I got to see my favorite band of all time twice - the Rolling Stones (in my hometown) - but if Zeppelin comes around I will most def be there!

My problem is memory: I remember a band of amazing young off-the-wall rockers who blew me (and my dad's speakers) away. But what if I go to a concert and see some old guys....like me?

I heard Zeppelin were devil worshippers. How could you even think about going. If you play Stairway to Heaven backwards it says Satan eats cheese wiz. LOL.

My only problem with them is their music gives me childhood memories. They are actually a great band though
